How to service a portable or cassette toilet

LOWER WASTE TANK

Open door & remove cassette or separate the 2 tanks of a portable toilet ( make sure the slide is closed before starting)

• Take the lower tank & empty into appropriate place. Use a hose or cold water gerney to wash out any remnants of waste & paper in tank.

Add 100mls of Heavy duty BioMagic (200mls of Regular BioMagic), 3-4 drops of dishwashing liquid & stand tank on end, then fill to maximum with water. Soak for at least 8-24 hours.

Empty & check for any remaining stubble. Hose out if need be.

Now set up to use by adding 100mls of BioMagic Regular for Small Waste tanks and 2 litres of water. (If using Heavy duty add 50 ml first time only)

 TOP OR FLUSH TANK

Drain the top tank from the drain nozzle or pour out if portable tank. Fill & drain again.

Fill up with fresh water & 50 ml of BioMagic for Small Waste tanks

If you notice any black algae in the tank soak it for 8 hours with BioMagic, shake vigorously and empty then set up again.

 CASSETTE LOCKER

Spray entire area inside cassette hatch and wipe thoroughly to dry.

Never hose this area as there may be exposed timber in some vehicles.

HANDY HINTS

When using any sort of portable toilet these golden rules are very helpful and save a lot of grief.

1. Open slide

2. Flush a little water so bowl & seals are wet

3. Use toilet

4. Flush after use

5. Close slide

It really works and removes any chance of building up uric acid in the seal area.
